Back to Africa!!!

and back to the blogging extravaganza:).  Well, not really...but that sounds exciting, doesn't it? I would imagine since I have been MIA on the blogging scene for quite awhile, I may have lost many of you, but I know there is a faithful remnant out there (mom...dad...?  ...anyone...??) Well, to whom it may concern, I am back in Africa, on the Africa Mercy where it is ported in Monrovia, Liberia.  I arrived last Wednesday to a very warm welcome (literally WARM... and welcome, too). It is hot in Africa.  Hotter than I seem to remember, but I am not complaining.

I won't drone on and on, but a quick list of things I am thankful for:
thankful for this amazing opportunity to return to Liberia
thankful for my incredible family and friends supporting me at home (and around the world)
thankful for the kindred spirits on board this ship
thankful for dear beautiful Liberian friends
thankful for a great bunk in a great 6-berth cabin
thankful for a friend I can call at 4 am
thankful for Today
thankful for my most constant and faithful God

Just wanted to write and let you know I am here, I am safe, I am THANKFUL.
I love and miss you.

Hi Honey,
You are constantly in our prayers. We miss you so much but we know that you are where God has lead you. We anxiously await stories of healing and the sharing of God's Good News.
Tender love,
Mama
